This was shot for my commercial photography class. The flower was originally yellow and I didn't like the color it came out to be on screen so I changed it up a little in photoshop. I shot this in the studio on a black cloth with black walls all around. I used a 1600 bron-color powerpack with one 3200 bron-color with a soft box attached. The light was positioned above the flower and shining down. I used my canon 5D with 24-105mm lens.

This is a very elegant photograph. I am glad you have decided to photograph a flower. I've been afraid to because Chuck does not absolutely love flowers. He will love this photograph though because it is well done.
